Any low-key prosperity rituals I can do while staying in a shelter?

I'm homeless and staying in a shelter, so I can't use candles or keep a spell jar. Are there simple ways to adapt a prosperity practice, maybe around tea or setting an intention, while also being kinder to myself?

You don't need a jar or a candle for a practice to feel meaningful. You could take a quiet moment to name what you hope for, then repeat a short phrase to yourself, like “I deserve support, and I can take one step toward stability.” Keeping it private and in your mind can work well in a shared space.

If tea is available and allowed, you could make the pause around drinking it the ritual. Think of an intention while holding the cup, then take a breath and drink slowly. No special herbs are needed, and it’s best not to add anything unless you know it’s safe for you and permitted where you’re staying.

For prosperity, you could connect the intention to one small practical action, such as asking about a resource, keeping track of a next step, or taking time to rest. That doesn't have to replace the spiritual part. It can give your hope a gentle place to land without needing supplies or storage.
