My jaw is getting worse and barely opens enough to brush my teeth. My back hurts and my wrists are swollen too. Could stress or a chakra issue be involved, and how can I get physical relief?

A jaw that is worsening and barely opens needs prompt medical assessment, rather than assuming it is an energy imbalance. Please seek urgent care today, or go to an emergency department if you cannot get seen promptly. Trouble breathing or swallowing, fever, or increasing swelling around your face or neck means emergency care now.

You can keep energy work as a personal comfort practice if it helps, but a device reading cannot establish why this is happening. Don’t force your jaw open or do strong jaw manipulation. A clinician or dentist can assess the jaw, while the swollen wrists and back pain are also worth mentioning.

When you call for care, say plainly that your jaw opening is getting worse and is too limited for toothbrushing, and mention the swollen wrists, back pain, and any stomach or gallbladder conditions or medicines. That gives them useful context for deciding where you should be seen. I wouldn’t wait for energy work to relieve it.
