How to Start Learning Tarot for Personal and Others' Guidance?

I recently got my tarot deck and I'm super excited to start using it! I view tarot as a tool for divine guidance, but I'm not sure where to begin with interpreting the cards and understanding what they mean for my life. What are some effective ways to get started with tarot readings, both for myself and for helping others? Thanks!

A great resource to consider is "78 Degrees of Wisdom" by Rachel Pollack. It's packed with insights and will really help you understand the meanings behind the cards.

That's interesting! What kind of exercises do you think I could do to strengthen my intuition as I learn?

Try studying each card individually! Do a daily or weekly draw of just one card and spend some time researching its meanings. It may take longer, but you'll build a deeper understanding and strengthen your intuition as well.

When I started out with tarot, I really enjoyed the "past, present, future" spread using three cards. It's a simple yet effective way to dive into the readings and reflect on different aspects of your life.

The best way to learn is through practice. Start with the guide that comes with your deck to get familiar with the card meanings. Keep consulting it as you read and don’t forget to practice regularly!
