Did My Grandpa Visit Me After He Passed Away?

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a personal experience I had shortly after my grandpa passed away, and I'm hoping to get some support or insights because most people around me don't believe in the paranormal.
Here's the story: back in late May 2023, I was 16 years old. I woke up around 2:30 am and saw a man in the hallway who looked a lot like my dad. I wasn't scared since my dad often stays up late, so I said hello, and the figure vanished. I thought nothing of it and went back to sleep after putting vaseline on my lips.
The next morning, my mom was on the phone, which was unusual at that hour. We learned that my grandpa—my dad's father—had passed away in Ohio, which is over 32 hours from where I live. Heartbroken, we drove there and discovered he had a heart attack after feeling sick in the middle of the night. The timing of my wake-up matched up with when he died.
While in Ohio, I found a photo album and realized that the man I saw that night was definitely my grandpa, just younger. I'm now wondering if this was just my imagination or if such experiences happen often. Any thoughts?

This kind of thing isn't uncommon at all! Many people report similar experiences when a loved one passes. While science may not validate these testimonies, personal experiences can be impactful and meaningful. Your grandpa might have been saying goodbye in a special way!

I’ve had a similar experience! On the night my grandfather died, I dreamt he was okay, and the next morning I found out he had passed. It’s weird how sometimes our minds or spirits can connect like that!
faithful_ghosts: It’s really fascinating how our subconscious might be able to pick up on things like that. It makes no sense to logic, but it feels real!

Loved ones tend to show up to say goodbye or offer comfort. It’s a beautiful thing even if it’s hard to explain.
