Strange Noises and Feelings After a Family Loss - What's Happening?

Hey everyone! Recently, I've been experiencing some strange things in my house, which all began on Sunday night at around 1 AM. I heard a loud exhale coming from my room, and at first, I thought it was just a family member playing a prank. However, after I turned on the lights, I heard the sound again. When I opened the hallway door, my stepmother came out and asked if I was running down the hall, which I wasn't. Trying to brush it off, I went to sleep while playing a prayer in the background. Strangely, after that, I felt a calming breeze and a release of pressure. The following morning, I heard a shushing noise in the hallway, and my stepmother shared that something tugged on her blanket while she was sitting on the couch. Notably, her father passed away just a couple of days before these occurrences. Since then, there hasn't been anything notable, but I'm curious if anyone can explain these experiences or offer advice on how to address them. I want to prevent any escalation, especially since it all started so suddenly. By the way, I was a skeptic before all of this.

It’s definitely possible that the spirit of your stepmother’s father is checking in. Often, when someone close to you passes away, they might linger around for a bit. If you're feeling uneasy, prayer or protection methods, like burning sage or various cleansing rituals, could help to ease your mind. Keep us updated on any further occurrences!

After a loss, it's common for everyday sounds to feel a bit more intense, especially in a quiet house. I would suggest checking for any practical reasons for the noises before jumping to supernatural conclusions. Sometimes our minds can play tricks on us, especially when we're grieving.

Wow, that sounds super intense! You're really handling everything well. Trust your gut; if you're feeling uneasy, maybe look into some protective rituals or keep a journal of what happens. It can help to track any patterns in the noises.
