What Could Be Causing Mysterious Handprints on My Mirror?

I've noticed some handprints on my mirror that are either smaller or larger than any of our family's hands, and it's really freaked me out. I've heard some people think it could be something supernatural, like demons. Can anyone help me understand what this could be or how I should handle it?
