Is it Safe to Use an Antique Mirror on My Altar?

Hello everyone! I have a lovely antique mirror that I inherited from my great aunt, and I'm thinking about incorporating it into my bedroom altar setup. I'm planning to make sure it's positioned carefully so it won't be facing another mirror, and I intend to cleanse and protect it before I start using it. Are there any reasons I should be cautious or should avoid using it on my altar? I'd really appreciate any tips or advice!

A mirror can be a powerful tool in your practice! If you’re worried about any kind of spirit activity, you might consider covering it with a blue cloth when not in use, as spirits tend to avoid water.

I absolutely love antique mirrors! They can really enhance the aesthetic of an altar. Plus, they work especially well for love and beauty deities. Just be aware that if you plan to use it as the altar surface, it might get damaged, so be cautious!
