Question

Anything I should keep in mind before asking for a free love reading?

A tarot reader is offering a free reading about what a future soulmate might be like. They ask for initials and a zodiac sign, and say not to send other personal details. Is there anything sensible to keep in mind before taking part?

Keep the information you share minimal. Initials and a zodiac sign are less identifying than a full name or birth details, but you can still skip anything you do not feel comfortable giving. A tarot reading should not require private, intimate, or identifying information, and you do not owe anyone a reply if the conversation starts asking for more.

I’d treat a soulmate reading as a bit of reflection or entertainment, not a reliable forecast of who you’ll meet. If something in it feels useful, take that part and leave the rest. It’s better not to make relationship decisions based on a prediction alone.

The offer is framed as practice, so expect an interpretation rather than a polished or definitive answer. It’s fine to ask how the reader handles privacy and what the reading can cover before sharing anything. And if you’re not comfortable with private messages, simply passing is a reasonable choice.
