Should I Be Concerned About a Tarot Reading Done Without My Consent?

I'm not really into spirituality and consider myself more agnostic, but my friend has gotten really into tarot lately. He recently had a reading done over the phone and, without telling me, he asked the reader about me. I wish he hadn't, because I've struggled with anxiety before, and I'm finally feeling great again. The reader mentioned I need to be careful because I tend to 'get into accidents,' which freaked me out a bit. I've never had any accidents in my life, and overall, I consider myself pretty lucky. I want to know how much weight this reading carries, especially since I had no idea it was happening. Should I be worried or take this seriously?

If what she said doesn’t resonate with you, then it’s probably not worth your time or energy. Some readers can be quite sketchy, and if this one didn't respect your privacy, it says a lot about her professionalism. Just remember that your reality is shaped by your beliefs—focus on staying positive!

Honestly, give no credit to what she said. Doing a reading without your consent is a major boundary violation. If she was ethical, she wouldn’t have read you like that at all—it’s kind of like being a peeping tom in the tarot world. Your friend shouldn't have asked for that, either. Just forget about it—you're in charge of your own narrative!

I wouldn't sugarcoat it either. It really depends on whether your friend provided your birth date and location, as some readers use that info to make assumptions. But honestly, if you feel good about your life and your luck, keep that energy! Make sure to check your own natal chart if you're curious to see if there's any truth to what she claimed. And about the reading, it might not manifest at all if you've never experienced accidents before!

It sounds pretty wild what the reader said! If she really believes in what she’s doing, then maybe it was just a warning for your friend to keep an eye on you—not necessarily about car accidents. Honestly, it feels a bit unethical for her to say something like that without having your consent. Worrying about it won't help, and it’s possible she was just trying to keep your friend tied to her readings. Just don't stress about it too much!
ThoughtfulBuddy: Yeah, it’s definitely a little invasive. Plus, it sounds like she was vague and didn't give any solid information, just trying to stir things up. I wouldn’t take it too seriously; focus on your own life and what you know about yourself.

ChartExplorer: I’ve never looked at my natal chart before! How do I find it? But can she really see anything specific about me without me being aware of it?
