How Should I Interpret Different Results from Tarot Readings on the Same Question?

Asked By curious_owl On

I've been pondering how to make sense of it when I get varying results from different tarot decks after asking the same question or about a specific topic. It's starting to make me doubt which reading I can trust more. What do you all think about this situation?

From my experience, it’s typically not recommended to ask the same question a lot in a short timespan. Even so, I’ve found outcomes tend to remain similar. Sometimes, it helps to have someone else do the reading instead of yourself since your mood can affect how you interpret the cards.

Thanks for your insights! I’m new to tarot too and have seen variations in readings done at different times. Different things have happened, and my mindset has shifted, so it's been a learning curve. I appreciate hearing your experiences.

Different readings can often reflect shifts in your mood or circumstances. For example, if you ask a question while feeling positive versus when you're stressed, the answers might change accordingly. It's like how your feelings might differ during a calm day versus a day full of arguments. Also, sometimes outside influences, like other people or timing, can affect your responses. So, it's best to stick to asking the same question only a few times a week to avoid tainting the reading with anxious energy.

Are you referring to different outcomes due to different cards, or is it more about the energy when you ask? You should ideally get a similar storyline if you're asking the same question closely together, regardless of the deck. But if the energy shifts, it can change what you interpret.
