Question

How Long Do Tarot Readings Really Last?

Hey everyone! I've been feeling really anxious lately because of a tarot reading I had a few months back. The reader mentioned there was a 9 out of 10 danger concerning my health if I didn't take care of myself. At the time, I wasn't anxious about my health, but that warning has been stuck in my head ever since and now I'm really worried about it. Since the reading, I've actually made some positive changes: I've lost weight, improved my lifestyle, and made a conscious effort to take better care of myself. The reader said the danger was lessening because of these changes, but the initial reading still haunts me. I'm also nervous about seeing her again and fear that the cards will reveal something worse this time. So, I'm hoping to gather some insights on a few questions: - How long does the 'validity' of a tarot reading last? - Can a reading from months ago still affect how I feel today? - What should I think about a warning like 'danger if you don't change'? - Are such readings meant to be taken literally or should I see them as more symbolic to inspire change? I'm not looking for medical advice, just a grounded spiritual perspective to help calm my mind and gain a better understanding of tarot. Thanks for reading!

So regarding how long a tarot reading lasts, it can differ based on individual circumstances. If a reading implies danger, it's generally a concern until something bad happens or it gets addressed. As for past readings affecting you now, they can definitely linger—it's all about the patterns in your life. About those warnings, if you feel like they're valid, then treat them as guidance rather than absolute truth. They’re meant to encourage changes, not create fear. Just make sure you're living your life in a way that feels healthy, irrespective of what was said in the past.

I think since you’ve been proactive and made these positive changes, it sounds like the danger is actually lessening! It’s great that you’re focusing on your health, and honestly, you probably don’t need tarot to realize that. Whether the initial reading had some truth or not, you’ve done what you can to live healthier. That’s a definite win!

As someone who engages in both tarot and health, I can say it's inappropriate for readers to make health predictions. The only advice that really matters about health comes from qualified medical professionals. Tarot should never replace solid medical guidance.

Readings should reflect current energies and not dictate your future. They don’t have the power to shape your fate—that's all on you! Plus, if you're feeling anxious, it's best to consult a doctor rather than rely solely on tarot. And remember, you’re the one in control of your life, not those cards!

Honestly, I think readers should be careful when it comes to health predictions. They can lead to unnecessary stress, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy where anxiety worsens health instead of helping it. It's really important to prioritize advice from medical professionals over tarot, especially about health-related issues.
