Why Is My Divination Practicing So Inconsistent?

I've been really frustrated with my attempts at divination. I've tried multiple methods like tarot cards, coins, dice, and even bones, but nothing seems to work consistently. I was told that before using any tool, I should bond with it and ask three questions that I already know the answers to in order to test its accuracy. However, no matter how many times I practice or try this method, I always end up with incorrect answers. For example, if I ask a simple yes or no question like "Am I a girl?" I might get the wrong card response every time, and it's driving me crazy. It's also really confusing when I try to communicate with spirits or deities; one moment I get a positive response, and the next it's negative. Has anyone dealt with this kind of problem? I could really use some advice or insight because I feel like I'm losing hope here.

It sounds like you're starting off with a lot of doubts, and that can definitely interfere. Instead of testing the tools, focus on strengthening your intuition first. Treat the divination as an extension of your own spiritual connection rather than a separate tool to be evaluated. Many seasoned readers actually suggest that self-divination can be the hardest, as our own biases can cloud the answers. Maybe try doing readings for others first to build your confidence?

Soul_Seeker: Thanks for that perspective! I realize now that I may have been too focused on testing instead of connecting. I'll give that a shot!
