How can people help with a missing-person case that surfaced years later?

Public information says Regina Allen, also known as Regina Lauren, was last seen in Las Vegas on July 1, 2019, and did not board a planned flight home. Her missing-person case was added to a public database in 2025. What’s useful to do when sharing a case like this, especially if someone may remember something from years ago?

Keep any post short and factual: her name, the alias she was known by, where and when she was last seen, and that the case was listed later. Point people toward an official case listing or investigating agency so they can check the details and find a proper way to submit information. If someone has a possible tip, it’s better sent privately to authorities than discussed in public comments.

And if you share an image, use one from an official source and keep its caption attached. Old photos can be useful, but an image without context can also confuse people.

The date gap makes memory details worth preserving, even if they seem small. Anyone who recalls seeing her, speaking with her, or hearing something directly around that time could write down what they remember, when they learned it, and whether it was firsthand or passed along by someone else. That distinction helps investigators assess it.

I’d avoid trying to fill in the years with guesses. A rumor about someone’s circumstances is not a confirmed lead, and repeating it can distract from information that could actually be checked.

Agreed on keeping firsthand memories separate from things heard later. If a recollection is uncertain, say so rather than rounding it into a firm date or sighting.

For a case that’s been missing from wider view, steady and accurate sharing probably helps more than dramatic framing. Mention that the public listing appeared in 2025, but don’t imply that this means the disappearance itself happened then. Also skip claims about why she vanished unless an official source has confirmed them.

If there’s no clear contact information in the post you’re sharing, look up the relevant law-enforcement agency through an official source before sending anything. Don’t post private details or try to investigate people yourself.
