Any ideas what this odd shape in a Westminster Abbey window could be?

A photo taken inside Westminster Abbey seems to show a strange figure in one of the stained-glass windows. It was not noticed at the time, and the shape is hard to make out. What ordinary explanations would be worth checking?

My first checks would be reflections and shadows. A person or object on the room side of the glass can look like it is part of the window, especially in a photo. The angle of the camera and the lighting can make the shape seem more figure-like too.

If there are other photos from nearby, compare them. A shape that shifts or disappears between shots may be a reflection or lighting effect. If it stays in the same place, that still does not identify it, but the full-resolution image might show whether it is in the glass or in front of it.

Hard to tell without seeing the original image. It could be a detail in the glass, something behind or reflected in it, or a camera artifact. I would avoid treating the outline as a person until the less dramatic possibilities have been ruled out.
