A photo taken inside an old power plant shows a dark, partly transparent, human-shaped form. Nearby people look distorted too, and the other pictures in the series appear normal. Could this be a camera or editing issue, or is there enough here to say anything more? The image being discussed may be a screenshot rather than the original photo.
Could this strange figure in a photo be a camera artifact?

Camera processing is a reasonable first possibility, especially since the people in the background also look altered. Phones can combine or process parts of an image in ways that produce odd edges and shapes. A single unusual frame does not by itself show what caused it, though.

A person moving through the scene is another possibility, even if the neighboring shots look clear. The timing and exposure can make a moving subject appear blurred or partly transparent in one frame. Without the original image and shooting details, it is hard to distinguish that from a processing glitch.

Creepy-looking is fair, but the description alone does not establish a paranormal explanation. I would keep the cause open and check the unaltered file, then see whether the shape lines up with anything in the room or with the camera's processing. If those clues are unavailable, the photo may simply remain ambiguous.

Would the original photo help narrow that down?
