Question

Why do my Tarot readings always seem negative?

Hey everyone! I'm fairly new to Tarot and have been trying to read more often, but I've run into a strange issue. No matter if I'm reading for myself or others, the new deck I got seems to give me mostly negative readings. My friends even jokingly call it 'the deck of pain and anguish.' I've never dealt with this problem using my old deck, which got damaged. I'm curious if there's a reason why the cards keep coming out with such a negative vibe. Occasionally I get positive outcomes, but they're always tied to difficult experiences. Any advice would be appreciated!

Are the readings you're getting accurate? I mean, have you tried consulting with a friend who also reads Tarot to get some extra perspective? Sometimes, having another set of eyes on the interpretations can really help clear things up!

enlightened_spirit: What do you mean by accurate? I've been using a guidebook that dives deep into the meanings of each card, and I try to connect them together in my readings. If I'm ever confused, I reach out to a Tarot friend for help.
