What are some of the most bizarre myths or misinformation you've heard regarding Tarot? I've encountered a few odd beliefs in my experiences, such as: 1. There's a rule that no one else can touch your cards; I've had someone read my cards, and honestly, people handle them when they're made. 2. The idea that cards must be shuffled in a specific manner is something I've heard, but I think anyone should just shuffle in whatever way feels right for them. 3. Some folks believe you can only read fortunes on certain days with specific energies—what do you think about that? Do you believe in this idea of energy? 4. I've even come across the belief that women can't read Tarot when they're on their period. I'm curious to hear what others think!

Oh, you missed the classic: your first deck has to be a gift! Like, what’s up with that?

this_is_new_to_me: I had no idea that was a thing! Where does that even come from?

I have a little ritual; I always cut my deck into three before drawing and knock on it for good energy. And yeah, every time I pick a major arcana card, I get super excited, even though it doesn’t necessarily mean much in the reading! It’s a bit weird, but I also feel like I need to draw the cards myself, even if I’m reading for someone else. Just feels right to me!

Haha, I've heard that you can't read cards about someone else without their permission! They say it's like stalking or something. Totally wild, right?
