Help Me Understand the 3 of Pentacles Reversed in a Love Reading

Hey everyone! I'm a beginner tarot reader and recently I'm experimenting with non-standard readings. I did a love reading for my best friend to see potential romantic prospects, but I'm still gaining confidence in my interpretations. I decided to go with my intuition instead of a specific spread since I'm trying to develop that skill. For her only prospect, I drew the 3 of Pentacles reversed while asking about any physical attributes that are noteworthy. My interpretation was that the person might have an inconsistent style, lack effort in their appearance, and possibly be someone she wouldn't typically go for. However, I feel hesitant to share this outright, as it seems a bit harsh and I'm not completely sure it's accurate. I'd love any insights or clarity on how to interpret this card, especially in the context of physical appearance. Thanks for your help!

I relate to your confusion! I read reversed cards too, but context matters a lot. Without additional cards for context, it’s tough to interpret. You might consider pulling another card next time to help clarify, especially if you're unsure about how two cards might interact. But I get that physical features can be hard to pin down with tarot!

It sounds like the reversed 3 of Pentacles could suggest that this person might have a style that seems mismatched or not very cohesive. Maybe they wear clothing that doesn’t traditionally go together, which could come off as a lack of effort. It doesn’t necessarily mean they look bad together, but perhaps that they wouldn’t appear as a classic match visually. Just an idea!
styleGuru99: That's an interesting take! I hadn't thought about it from the style perspective. It makes sense that physical appearance could be interpreted in a more abstract way, like overall style rather than just looks!

curiousSoul: Thanks for the advice! I didn’t draw another card this time, but I see how it might help in the future, especially when personalities are involved too. I appreciate your insights!
