Feeling Tugs and Movements in My Spare Bedroom: What's Going On?

About six months ago, my husband and I moved into a charming historic home that's nearly 100 years old. We haven't encountered anything unusual—no odd noises or smells—except for some strange occurrences in the spare bedroom. Since my husband snores, I occasionally retreat to the spare bedroom for a good night's sleep. However, I've experienced a bizarre sensation where the bed seems to shift and move, like someone is playing with the edges or adjusting the sheets. This happens both while I'm falling asleep and when I'm fully awake. It primarily occurs on the right side of the bed, near the pillows and foot of the bed, where I feel light tugs on the sheets. Even my dog seems startled by something at the foot of the bed during the day, which makes me think it isn't just in my head. I'm looking for logical explanations for this phenomenon, as it's a bit unsettling!

I understand where you’re coming from, but honestly, it sounds like it could be an active spirit messing around in your bedroom. Once or twice might be easy to dismiss, but multiple occurrences? Plus, with your dog's reactions, it seems like something is definitely going on. If you're open to it, I’ve had success with ghost removal techniques before.

Have you thought about checking the mattress itself? Maybe consider flipping it over or looking underneath it just to rule out any issues with the bed frame or mattress. Sometimes old frames can creak or shift in unexpected ways, so it could be a simple fix!
HistoricHomeLover: I haven't flipped the mattress yet. It's actually on a high rise metal frame with slats, so there's nothing underneath it.

HistoricHomeLover: That’s interesting! What did you do to help remove it? It’s a bit spooky to think about, but I’d love to hear more.
