When you summon a god or spirit, do they show up in front of you like a person or animal would, or is their presence felt in a different way? Can it be just auditory, or are they invisible, only felt as an energy? I'm new to this whole practice, so I appreciate any guidance!

You can't summon a god in the traditional sense since they are foundational to reality itself. Instead, you can invite them to make their presence known. If you approach them correctly, they’ll often respond positively. Think of it like tuning a radio to communicate with them. Sometimes they respond subtly, and other times it's in a much more dramatic way.

When you evoke an entity, the idea is to encourage them to take a physical form, but since they usually don’t have one, you may need a medium to help with that. Commonly used methods include incense, mirrors, or pools of water. However, trying to force an entity to manifest just for proof isn’t generally seen as a good practice.

It really depends on the entity you're summoning and your own abilities. Some people have a natural knack for sensing the spiritual realm, while others might need something physical—like mirrors, incense smoke, or water—to facilitate the connection. It's a complex subject, and requires some time and research to understand fully.

Generally, they don’t appear physically since most deities or spirits lack a physical form. While evocation might create some visible effects, it often resembles a hallucination rather than a solid presence. A lot of folks experience these connections as brief flashes rather than long, clear encounters. With invocation, it’s often more about using your imagination or feelings to sense their presence.

Any experience is mediated through our minds and nervous systems. It’s about how external stimuli influence our perceptions and how we represent those experiences internally.
