I'm curious about what exactly mimics are and if they pose a danger to people. I've heard some spooky stories but would love to get more information about these entities. Can anyone share insights or experiences?

One interesting approach is to confront the mimic directly—though be prepared for some scare tactics! I had a weird experience where a mimic of myself appeared in a dream. We ended up yelling at each other, and I made a point to ask it things only I would know. When it couldn’t, it just vanished. So, maybe confronting them could work, but it’s definitely not for everyone!

If you're looking for more information, I recommend checking out "Mimics - The Others Among Us" and "The Witch's Guide to the Paranormal" by J. Allen Cross. These books categorize them as inhuman entities. Also, there's a Netflix series called "The Haunted" with an episode titled "The Mimic" that dives into these stories. They generally seem to thrive on fear and being acknowledged.

Mimics are basically entities that can copy other people or things to trick you. They’re often portrayed as pretty dangerous, using their mimicking ability to lure people into harmful situations. For instance, they might sound just like your friend calling for help from the woods, but it’s really a trap to get you alone. It's best to keep your distance from anything that seems off, even if it appears familiar.
