Different animals seem to appear when I visit my great-grandfather’s grave, including one that landed on the stone. Could that have spiritual meaning, or is it more likely coincidence?
Do repeated animal visits at a family grave mean anything?

There isn’t a reliable way to tell whether an animal’s appearance is a message. If the moments feel meaningful to you, you can hold onto that comfort without needing to treat it as proof of anything supernatural.

Animals choose spots for ordinary reasons, like a place to perch or rest. A particular stone may stand out to a bird, but without knowing more about the surroundings, it’s hard to say why it landed there.

If you’re curious about a pattern, note the animals and when they appear over a few visits. That may help show whether there’s a seasonal or environmental explanation. Either way, it’s fine if the encounters also become a personal way to remember your great-grandfather.
