If someone interrupts a candle spell and I get upset while they are there, does that mean the spell is ruined? I used the herbs I had, so I would rather not start over.
Did an interruption ruin my candle spell?

An interruption does not have to mean the spell is cancelled. If your practice is guided by intention, including your menstrual cycle, you can decide that the work is still what you meant it to be. You could take a moment to refocus or say a simple closing phrase, without repeating the whole thing.

If being angry during a love spell makes you uncomfortable, pause and check in with yourself rather than treating that feeling as proof that something went wrong. You can leave the spell as it is, or choose to revisit the intention later. Whether you need particular ingredients depends on your own practice, not on a universal rule.

Keep the practical part simple: if the conversation distracted you, check the candle flame, put it out safely and decide later whether you want to continue. There is no objective way to measure whether someone else's presence changed a spell, so you do not have to spend your last herbs trying to fix something you cannot know was broken.
