Do I Have to Stay with My Candle Spells the Whole Time?

I've been curious about candle spells and whether it's necessary to stay within a protective circle from start to finish while they burn. I know it's important not to leave the flame unattended, but is it required to sit with the candle for the entire duration?

A lot of people don't actually use protection circles for candle spells. I usually set up my candles in a safe spot and then just go about my day once the spell is active. You could be in the kitchen or cozy up with a book—it all depends on what feels right for you!

I generally let my candles burn as long as I think is necessary. Once I've felt that they've done their job, I simply extinguish them without any fuss.

I like to meditate a bit with my candles but then I carry on with my day as usual, just staying in the house while they burn.
