Are Tarot Readings on Social Media Worth Trusting?

Asked By curiousCat89 On

Hey everyone, I've been seeing a ton of videos on social media where tarot readers claim that someone will confess their love to me soon. Most of these clips talk about a person from my past breaking no contact, and a lot of them even throw out specific dates for when this will happen. Some say things like, "You're watching this for a reason" or "This is true love you manifested." The problem is, those supposed confession dates have come and gone, and I'm still trying to get over a guy who rejected my love just a month ago. So my question is, should I take these readings seriously, or is this just a ploy by algorithms that target vulnerable folks like me? Thanks for any insights!

Totally agree with what everyone’s saying! The frequency that those kinds of readings appear on our feeds says a lot about our generation's mental health. It's definitely more about the algorithm than any real insight. If you're looking to know whether your past relationship is truly over, I’d suggest pulling some cards for yourself or seeking a reading from a trusted friend. Good luck!

It sounds like the social media algorithm is really working overtime here! These platforms show you more of what you engage with to keep you hooked, so if you watch one tarot reading, you’re likely to see a flood of similar content. Honestly, many of those tarot readers seem more focused on views than genuinely helping people. I’d recommend being cautious about taking any of those messages to heart. They’re likely just tapping into your situation rather than offering something meaningful.

A great way to discern if any of those messages are actually meant for you is to create a personal 'passcode' with the universe. For example, you can ask for a specific symbol or sign to confirm that a message is genuine. The algorithm's job is to keep you engaged by showing you what you already like, which makes it tough to find authentic content.

As someone who reads tarot myself, I stay away from the social media readings. They're often too focused on ex-relationships, which can really cloud your judgment. If you’re looking for answers, it might be better to consult a trusted reader in person.

I’m with you on this—I don’t trust the tarot readings popping up on TikTok either. It seems like they prey on people’s fears and hopes rather than providing real guidance. If you’re serious about getting answers, a personalized reading from someone reputable is the way to go.
