Can I Still Use My Tarot Deck If Some Cards Are Missing?

Hey everyone! I have this tarot deck that's really special to me since it's my very first one. Unfortunately, my housemate has taken some cards and even punched holes in them for an art project without asking. I'm really attached to this deck despite what she's done. So, I'm wondering, is it still okay to do readings even with some cards missing? Any advice would be appreciated!

First off, you definitely need to deal with your housemate! But seriously, yes, you can still do readings. The missing cards might change the way messages come through, but the other cards will still convey what you need to know. By the way, what's the name of your deck?

It’s totally understandable to want to keep your original deck! If the missing cards are affecting your readings, maybe try to replace them by printing images and sticking them onto card stock. That way, you still have all the guidance you need!

I can’t use an incomplete deck myself! I always want all the cards present to really connect with my readings. It just doesn’t feel right otherwise.

Honestly, what your housemate did is pretty outrageous! I'd be really upset too. One option could be to buy an identical deck and use it to replace the missing cards, while keeping the original for parts. Over time, you may mix them up, and it could be like your deck has transformed!

It really depends on how you feel about the missing cards. Do you think they’re crucial to your readings? If they are, then it might not be ideal to use it incomplete. But if not, maybe you could make it work!

Your deck should ideally be whole. You can often find images of missing cards online. Print and attach them to some cardboard for a quick fix. But honestly, just do whatever feels right to restore your deck to its full glory!
