Why won't my bay leaf burn completely during my spells?

I've been using bay leaves in my spells for attracting good financial outcomes. When I light the bay leaf on a candle, throw it into a cauldron, it doesn't seem to burn fully. I often have to relight it multiple times. Does this mean my spell is less effective, or is it not an issue at all? I'm curious if anyone else experiences this.

You can also try using tongs or pliers to hold the bay leaf in the flame until it burns out. They just don’t ignite as easily as you'd expect.

Bay leaves are a bit tricky with burning. If you have tweezers, try holding the leaf over the flame directly until it catches and burns fully. Sometimes they just need a little more attention to get going.

It sounds like the bay leaf just isn't catching fire properly. You might want to skip the candle and try burning just the bay leaf alone, or vice versa—using just the candle might work better for your spells.

Honestly, bay leaves might just be less flammable than we think. I've had the same experience, and I just keep trying until it burns right!
