What’s the Difference Between Freezer Spells and Protection Spells?

Hey everyone! I'm considering doing a freezer spell to deal with someone who has some pretty negative vibes. This person is quietly racist and transphobic, and though others seem to like him, I'm just tired of the mental energy he drains from me. I was wondering if it would be a good idea to use a freezer spell to block him and others who bring bad energy into my life without harming them, since I don't want to wish any ill will on anyone. I also thought about whether I should just focus on doing a protection spell instead, but I keep hearing great success stories about freezer spells. My concern is, if I freeze out all the negative people, would that leave me isolated? Am I overthinking this? What should I really consider doing here?

Spells typically work based on your intent, so a freezer spell shouldn’t backfire by causing something like a contagious disease. It’s meant to help you stop thinking about someone and keep them away from you. Just be aware that if you regularly encounter this person, freezing them might not be the best route since it could create unintended consequences. Maybe consider a protection spell instead to keep harmful energies at bay, but remember that it generally works on negative spirits or energies aimed directly at you. If they're not attacking you outright, protection spells may not be as effective. If you need to keep them at a distance, a ward you carry might be a better option. Just be careful if you choose to freeze someone you still have to see regularly; that could create issues for you too.

starlit_soul: Totally get that! It's much easier to find strategies that work for maintaining personal energy. Using a ward can be a solid way to manage interactions.

Is your social scene really that toxic? You’ve mentioned feeling overwhelmed by people who seem to overlook harmful behavior, and it makes sense you’re concerned about isolating yourself. But freezing out people you find problematic won't lead to disastrous results! It's not like the movies where everything goes haywire. You could also think about alleviating some tension by doing smaller events with friends away from this group. Have an open conversation with people who share your concerns too—it could lighten your load a bit!

willow_wisdom: Yes! Finding smaller settings might help dilute the negativity you're encountering. It’s important to keep those who uplift you close!

A freezer spell is really about stopping things in their tracks—so it sounds like you're wanting to freeze this guy out because he’s bothersome. Many people use wards to protect themselves in situations they can't avoid. For this case, if he's just an annoying presence rather than someone actively harming you, it might be better to consider some type of warding spell. You mentioned you could also do something like a spell to bring awareness to his behavior within your group. This could help get your community to see what’s happening and potentially deal with it without your direct involvement. Banishing him might be another option, especially if it’s more serious than just annoying behavior. However, be mindful—some spells are aggressive and might have a stronger impact than you intend!

quiet_hope: All those options sound really solid! The idea of the community being aware could spark change without needing to confront him directly.

I’ve done a freezer spell before, and sometimes those people just end up moving away! Just remember, spells of this kind bind their actions towards you, but you should still act towards your feelings and consider your physical interactions. If you’re really frustrated about being nice to someone who's not treating you right, that says a lot. Energetically freeing yourself from these interactions can lead to positive outcomes. It's good to explore tying magical efforts with practical changes in your life as well!

adventurous_spirit: Wow, that sounds effective! I could use a spell like that myself! Sometimes just the intention of cutting ties does wonders.
