Is it okay to use multiple tarot decks for readings?

I've been doing readings for myself using two different tarot decks to compare the insights. I feel like one deck is more gentle and understanding, while the other is more straightforward and blunt. Some people have criticized me for believing that my decks have their own personalities, but I've noticed this pattern through many readings. Is it considered a bad practice to do double readings like this, or do others do it too? Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

There’s really no right or wrong when it comes to your own tarot journey. It’s all about what resonates with you. Reading with two decks can provide deeper insights, especially if the energies balance each other out nicely. Just be mindful not to overthink things or get confused by the messages—it seems like you’re doing a great job already!

I do a similar thing with my daily readings! Mixing decks often reveals a richer narrative, especially if the themes overlap or contrast. Just follow what feels right for you—there are no hard rules in tarot!

If it works for you, then it’s all good! I also do this with Tarot and Lenormand decks, which are quite different in style, and I find that it brings out some interesting insights. It’s not weird to think of your decks as having different personalities either. The imagery influences how we interpret them, so it makes sense!

Totally acceptable to read using multiple decks! I have decks that feel very playful or blunt in their readings. It's like having different perspectives on the same situation. I did a reading with a new deck recently, and the King of Swords popped up with an attitude that made me chuckle—it was saying, 'I'm smarter!'
Mystic_Whispers: That's hilarious! I love when decks have attitude, it makes readings more fun.
Moonlit_Spirit: Exactly! It's so refreshing to get a different vibe from each deck.

You can definitely do whatever feels right! Each deck can reveal different nuances in the energy of a reading. Just make sure you stay committed to your readings—trying to shuffle again when you don’t like a message can lead to confusion down the line.
Wandering_Dreamer: Good point! I've been cautious about that since I want to ensure I'm not avoiding important insights.
Moonlit_Spirit: Exactly, sticking with the reading helps!
