Creative Ways to Describe Being a Tarot Reader

I'm proud of my work as a tarot reader, but sometimes I just want to simplify how I describe it, especially on low-energy days. I don't want to dive into long conversations with strangers I won't see again, like Uber drivers or distant family. I use tarot as a symbolic language for insight, reflection, and pattern recognition—not fortune telling or therapy, even though I have clairvoyant abilities and some experience as a medium. So, when someone asks what I do, I want a quick, catchy phrase that avoids in-depth follow-ups, rather than titles like 'tarot reader,' 'psychic,' or 'holistic therapist.' I'm looking for examples or suggestions that convey what I do in just 2-3 words. Any ideas would be appreciated!

You could just say you’re a "consultant." It’s pretty vague and most people won’t ask for more details if they hear that. Plus, it’s not misleading!

How about calling yourself a "life guide"? It offers a sense of direction without too much explanation.

realTalkGuru: Just be careful with that term; 'life coach' can have a negative connotation these days. You don’t want to lose potential clients because of a label!
