What to Do When a Tarot Reading Doesn't Feel Right?

I recently went to a tarot reader while I was out of town, hoping for some insight into my love life. She gave me a general energy reading that really resonated with me, but the specific love reading felt completely off. For example, she suggested I adopt a nonchalant attitude when a certain angel number starts showing up, but I believe that would send the wrong message to the person I'm interested in. We're already on a mutual level, and acting indifferent now could make them think I'm no longer interested when that's not the case. Moreover, she mentioned that our relationship could crash and burn if we moved too quickly, which puzzles me because we've been talking for over a year and a half. I can't imagine viewing this person as just a friend. I get that every reading varies, but I'm curious to know why the energy reading felt right while the love reading didn't resonate at all. What might that mean?

I get where you're coming from! If a reading feels off, I usually consider digging deeper into the card meanings or just disregarding the reading altogether. It might be a hint that you shouldn't have asked about that topic. No harm in letting it go and focusing on what feels right instead!

It sounds like the reader might have given more of their personal opinion on dating rather than what the cards suggested. Sometimes readers inject their beliefs into the interpretation. Trust your intuition on how you feel towards your situation—it’s just as valid!

I can relate! My first reading was about my career, and at first, I thought it was pointless. But later, everything she said came true. I think some readings may not resonate right away because we need time to absorb the advice or perspective. Just keep an open mind about it!

curious.george: Thanks for the insight! I still feel a bit lost, but I'll remember that next time. Sometimes it's tricky to separate personal feelings from what the cards say, right?
