I gave a relationship reading and the client said it felt inaccurate. I still felt attached to my interpretation, but I’m not sure how to respond when someone doesn’t see themselves in a reading.
What do you do when a reading doesn’t resonate?

Take their response at face value. You can ask whether they want to clarify the question or leave it there, but I wouldn’t argue that the reading is secretly accurate or insist they’ll understand later. Tarot can be a prompt for reflection, not proof about someone’s relationship or future.

Relationship predictions can land heavily, especially when they involve other people’s feelings or a breakup. I’d own the limits of the reading, say it may simply not fit for them, and avoid presenting your interpretation as certainty. Their disagreement doesn’t establish that you were right or wrong.
