Should I Get Protective Sigils or Runes Tattooed?

I've been thinking about getting tattoos of protective sigils and symbols for a while now. I already have quite a few tattoos, and I really want to add these meaningful designs. However, I've recently heard from some practitioners that getting permanent tattoos of protective symbols might be a bad idea. They mentioned that these symbols are meant to absorb negative energy and having them permanently on my skin could potentially attract or worsen negativity instead of offering protection. I've learned that protective sigils can be recharged rather than breaking, and while there are amulets designed to take on negativity, not all protective symbols operate this way. I want to know if getting these symbols tattooed is a good idea or if I should think twice about it, particularly regarding protective symbols or sigils in general.

Honestly, I think that's ridiculous. People have been tattooed with protective symbols for ages, even dating back to prehistory. There's a long tradition of this, so I wouldn't let those warnings scare you away.

I have several of my own sigils tattooed, done by a reputable artist who also practices spirituality. The idea is to charge these symbols with positive energy when others see them. I’ve had them for years, and not only do I receive tons of compliments, but they've worked to enhance my protective energy as well.
