Is Being Born on an Equinox Special?

I'm curious if there's any significance to being born during an equinox. Personally, I was born on the summer equinox, but my mother was born in the autumn equinox. Does anyone think there might be some kind of innate power or special meaning tied to these birth dates? I'd love to hear thoughts from those with more experience or knowledge on this topic!

Honestly, I think it's all a coincidence. The timing of your birth is just luck — it doesn't mean anything special.

From my perspective, there’s really no reason to think the calendar dates have any magical significance. I was born on the winter solstice, and I don’t feel any special powers from that!
inAgreeance: I feel the same way!

Just a heads up, being born in the summer means you were actually born during a solstice, not an equinox. Solstices mark the longest or shortest days of the year, while equinoxes are about equal day and night. There are solstices in summer and winter, and equinoxes in spring and autumn.
curiousMind7: Thanks for pointing that out! What’s your take on the overall idea?

I don't think there's any innate power tied to being born during an equinox. For me, strength and skill come from hard work and dedication, not from the date you're born.
realist101: That’s pretty much my take too. I have no history of witchcraft in my family and I believe it all boils down to effort!

I think this idea gets oversold in media. Your birth timing was just a chance occurrence, and being a witch is about taking control of your life rather than leaving it to fate. Just because you were born on an equinox doesn’t mean much, in reality.
curiousMind7: I appreciate your honesty, but that feels a bit too harsh for someone just asking a question. I’m really just exploring thoughts here!

sisterBond: Totally agree! I also have a sister who was born on an ordinary day, and I don’t see any difference.
