Is Artemis II a Fake Mission?

I've been really diving into the topic of moon landings, and while I stand firm on the idea that the 1969 Moon landing was real, I totally get why some folks might be skeptical about it because of the Cold War context and the not-so-great video quality from back then. However, I can't wrap my head around the beliefs that Artemis II—which is still on track to launch—is faked. I mean, people have literally seen the rocket launch with their own eyes! So, if you believe that Artemis II is a hoax, I'd love for you to share why you think so and provide any evidence to back it up.

I firmly believe the Apollo missions were real, but I can see how some might think the footage we saw was faked. But honestly, NASA had no obligation to fake anything at all. They released so much footage; if it were fake, they would have had to go through so much extra work to cover their tracks!

From what I've seen, it's pretty hard to argue that it's a hoax. The U.S. has a lot of reputation riding on this project. Being in Japan, I actually feel hopeful about it and want to wish everyone involved all the best!

I think the launch was real, but I'm not convinced they actually went to the moon. I believe it was all just an optical illusion for show.

SkepticInDisguise: How can you explain how so many people have been involved for decades without anyone spilling the beans?
