Do Chakras Spin Clockwise or Counterclockwise?

I've always been a bit confused about how chakras should spin. I thought I understood it, but now I'm second-guessing myself. I've heard that healthy chakras spin clockwise, but does that mean from the perspective of looking at a clock on the wall (left to right), or is it from looking at the chakra on my body, which would be more like right to left? I feel like I'm probably overthinking this since I've never seen anyone else ask this question, but here I am!

Haha, I’ve pondered this question myself! I usually stick to what I call the 'ship rules' to keep things simple.

Chakras are generally said to spin clockwise when viewed from the perspective of someone directly in front of them. So, picture looking down on the crown chakra or up at the root chakra; in both cases, they would appear to be spinning clockwise. This also applies to the middle chakras when viewed from behind, as you're looking at the rear side of them.

PerspectiveNerd: But doesn't that mean the crown and root chakras are spinning in opposite directions? Seems confusing!
MindfulSeeker: In simpler terms, you're looking at it as though the chakra is turning toward your left.
