Can intense energy sensations come with nausea and no sleep?

After working on self-respect, I woke with intense sensations in my abdomen, nausea and retching, and I have not been able to sleep. I am wondering how to handle it and whether thinking of it as a chakra opening is helpful.

I would treat the nausea and retching as physical symptoms first, rather than assuming they mean a chakra has opened. If they continue, or you still cannot sleep, contact a healthcare professional for advice. Seek urgent help if you have severe pain, fainting, trouble breathing, confusion, or cannot keep fluids down.

You can keep the spiritual interpretation if it feels meaningful, but it is not a way to tell what is causing the symptoms. For now, pause any exercises that seem to intensify them. Sit somewhere comfortable, notice ordinary things around you, and take small sips of water if you can.

Keep tonight simple: dim the lights, avoid trying to force a big release or a particular breathing pattern, and let someone you trust know you are feeling unwell. If the retching carries on or things get worse, get medical advice instead of waiting for the sensation to pass.
