I ordered a tarot deck and it arrived opened, though it looks new. Is there any reason to worry about keeping it, or should I return it?

An open package by itself doesn’t tell you whether anything is wrong with the deck. Check that the cards are all there and look clean, with no stains, damage, or unusual odor. If anything seems off, or you’d rather not guess, ask the seller for a replacement or return.

If it looks untouched and complete, keeping it is a personal comfort call, not something you have to do. But if the opened packaging has you uneasy, returning it is a perfectly reasonable fix. Take a few photos first in case the seller asks about the condition it arrived in.
