What Are Your Experiences Working with Anima Sola?

Hello everyone! I've been diving into the lore surrounding Anima Sola and am eager to learn more about her before I start working with her. I would love to hear any personal experiences you've had while working with her, along with any book recommendations you might suggest. Thanks in advance!

Anima Sola isn't one single spirit; it's the collective name for the souls in purgatory, especially those without anyone to pray for them. They are thought to be desperate to leave, so praying for them can create a strong and favorable connection. Many people, especially in Mexico, used to call on them for favors that needed a more flexible approach to morality. Many elements of this practice have been absorbed by the cult of La Santa Muerte, but Anima Sola remains more closely linked to Catholicism. Interestingly, I think there's a synergy in working with both Anima Sola and Santa Muerte. Even if traditionally they are not honored together, working with one can make the other feel more accessible.

From what I've gathered, Anima Sola represents the souls in purgatory, often the ones forgotten and alone. When you pray to her most desperate soul, your offerings and prayers are accepted swiftly. Just be careful about what promises you make, as they tend to hold you to them! It's common to pray on Mondays, but make it clear how many times you plan to do so.
Curious_Wanderer: Thanks for the advice! I'll make sure to be clear about my commitments and follow through, especially on Mondays.

Curious_Wanderer: This is all so fascinating! Thanks for sharing such a detailed perspective. I’m actually looking to connect with them similarly to how one might petition Catholic Saints.
