Is this old bathroom-camera story actually verified?

I saw a claim that a talk-show host put cameras in a guest bathroom, supposedly revealed in an old interview. The post I found gives no clip or details. How can I check whether it is real before sharing it?

Start with the original interview or a complete transcript, not a short clip or a headline repeating the allegation. Check whether the words are actually there and what they refer to. The item you describe has no supporting details, so it isn't enough to establish the claim.

I'd look for independent, reputable reporting that names the date and provides context. If all the results trace back to the same unsourced post, that's repetition, not confirmation. Until there is better evidence, I'd describe it as an unverified claim rather than a fact.

Bathroom cameras would be a serious privacy issue, so I wouldn't treat it as harmless gossip. But the seriousness of an allegation doesn't make it true. Without the original material or credible corroboration, there's no sound basis here to say it happened.
