Question

How Can I Find a Spiritual Community to Support My Tarot Journey?

I've been reading Tarot for about two years now after a negative experience with a scammer in the spiritual realm that really affected me. A friend from a Roma/Pagan background helped me get started, but we've lost touch, and I'm feeling pretty isolated in my practice right now. I've been using the Labyrinthos app for self-learning and have had some accurate readings using a more conversational, free-form style, but lately, I feel disconnected and insecure about my abilities. I often second-guess my readings, leading to impostor syndrome, and it's hard for me to make sense of my journey. I would love to connect with others in the community who might guide me, whether it's short-term or long-term. I'm open to whatever the universe brings my way!

Definitely look into "Initiation into Hermetics" by Franz Bardon. It helped clear up a lot of confusion for me and cut through the unnecessary fluff in spiritual practices. And remember, feeling insecure about your abilities isn’t always a bad thing—it keeps you focused and self-aware!

You should definitely check out EventBrite for both in-person and virtual meetups. It's a great way to connect with others! I also love watching Tarot-related series on YouTube for inspiration—Vincent Pitisci’s work is incredible! Plus, I find the subreddits like TarotDecks or Tarotspreads can lead you down interesting paths!

You might find some great resources in books! Check out "Tarot for Yourself" and "21 Ways to Read a Tarot Card" by Mary K. Greer, as well as Rachel Pollack's "The New Tarot Handbook." If you’re looking to deepen your personal magical practice too, consider Arin Murphy-Hiscock's books on being a Green Witch or kitchen witch, plus Mat Auryn's "Psychic Witch." Additionally, remember that Tarot doesn’t have to be spiritual if that’s not what you’re after—check out the secular tarot community for different ways to connect with the cards and your psyche. Bringing spirituality into your day can be as simple as practicing gratitude for the little things, which can help ground you too. Libraries can be a great resource for this kind of stuff, so maybe spend some time there!
