I recently opened up about my thoughts on conspiracy theories and my views on Jesus to a colleague who mentioned he's a 3rd degree Freemason. He even showed me some pictures of him in his Freemason attire. Now I'm kind of worried—am I risking my life by sharing my opinions with him?

It’s kind of like old-school networking before social media. A lot of business-types just connect for favors and benefits, not some sinister plot.

Lol, no, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Masons are just like anyone else—it's not that big of a deal. They're everywhere, and most of them are just normal people.

You did share some pretty intense views. But you know what they say – "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." Just stay true to yourself!

Faithful_Friend: Exactly, just keep your guard up and stay positive!

Honestly, I doubt Bob in cubicle three is going to come after you just because of your beliefs. Just keep an eye out, maybe avoid discussing it further in the break room or where others can overhear.

Witty_Wonderer: Right? It's just workplace chit-chat unless someone makes it weird!
