I'm struggling with persistent issues in my pelvic region, and I'm seeking recommendations for energy work that could help. I'm a 31-year-old woman with a history of sexual trauma. Despite having undergone extensive therapy, I feel like my body is still holding onto that pain, which affects my intimacy and causes physical discomfort. I am currently seeing an OBGYN and have previously tried pelvic floor physical therapy. I'm interested in exploring alternative healing methods that can connect my mind and body, potentially addressing the subconscious patterns I'm experiencing. If you have any suggestions or need more details, feel free to ask!

I recommend looking into Somatic Experiencing as well. After experiencing both TRE and Somatic work, I've found a mix of body awareness, spontaneous movement, and emotional exploration can be super effective.

You might want to try integrating and releasing sexual trauma through focused energy work. Find a quiet space, close your eyes, and gently direct your awareness into your womb. Allow yourself to fully feel the pain and trauma without judgment. It’s about honoring those feelings and sending love to that part of yourself. The more you do this, the more your feelings can start to shift.

Finding a practitioner who specializes in yoga, tantra, reiki, or shamanic healing might also be beneficial. These practices can help to release trauma and restore balance.
