What Happened to the WitchTok Hashtag on TikTok?

I've been using the WitchTok hashtag on TikTok for quite some time, but I've noticed that it's been missing for the last couple of weeks. I'm curious if anyone has any insights on this change. It feels like it could be related to some of the recent events in the U.S., where people are turning to witchcraft for protection, and also considering that TikTok now has new ownership. I'm hesitant to use any hashtags related to witchcraft now because I'm unsure about the situation. Has anyone else experienced this or have any info on what might be happening?

Some might even say it’s a blessing in disguise. With so much noise and confusion online about witchcraft, stepping back could allow us to focus instead on our own practices and beliefs.

Honestly, TikTok might not be the best resource for spiritual topics anymore. There's so much misinformation going around, and it can really warp the true nature of practices like witchcraft.

This could be a good time to reflect on where you source your spiritual knowledge. TikTok is fun, but it's crucial to cross-check what you find there with reliable books or communities.

It definitely seems linked to the recent ownership change and the political climate. If the administration disapproves of certain topics or trends, it wouldn’t be surprising for those to be suppressed on the platform.

I’ve also noticed the changes. It feels like TikTok is becoming a platform where misinformation thrives, and witchcraft-themed content can easily get lost or misrepresented.
