What Does It Mean to Spin Energy Clockwise vs. Counter-Clockwise?

I've developed a morning routine where I like to circulate energy throughout my body, but I naturally find myself spinning it counter-clockwise. I have to consciously direct myself to spin it clockwise. Does this have any significance?

I think it's really about following your instincts. Your intention when working with energy is what truly counts, rather than worrying about the 'right' way to do it.

Context is key! Different practices can have strict rules about which way to spin energy, but it seems like what you're doing is working for you. If it feels right, stick with it!

There's a bit of lore to it! Widdershins (counter-clockwise) is often associated with undoing or releasing, while spinning clockwise is for building and manifesting.

Why not use both directions? I usually spin my energy counter-clockwise to expand it and clockwise to contain or ground it. It's all about what you want to achieve with your energy.

From what I understand, the direction you're spinning energy may connect to past life experiences that are helping you heal in this lifetime. Remember that clockwise and counter-clockwise can be viewed from different angles—it's not absolute. In general, moving energy is healthier than stagnant energy, so just keep exploring how it feels for you.
