What Could Be Causing Repeated Three Knocks in My House?

I've been experiencing a strange phenomenon for the past month where I hear three distinct knocks. It's not coming from the door; it seems like it's originating from inside the wall behind my bed. This happens every few days, almost exclusively between 2 and 4 AM. I live in a standalone house with no shared walls, so I've ruled out any neighboring noise. I've checked for pipes, heating issues, and even animals in the attic, but found nothing. Has anyone else dealt with similar repeated knocks, specifically three in a row?

It’s definitely a weird situation. Are the knocks structured like, knock...pause... then knock knock? Or is it just straight-up knock, knock, knock?

Are you into any religious or spiritual beliefs? I've heard that in some Christian circles, three consistent knocks might be seen as a sign of something otherworldly, like a demonic presence.

That sounds really unsettling! It's possible it could just be the house settling, but three knocks does give off an eerie vibe for sure.
