What convinced you that biokinesis and energy work are real?

I'm at a point where I'm torn between believing in things like biokinesis—manipulating energy and affecting physical changes—and just giving up on the idea. I'd love to hear your stories and experiences that made you believe in this kind of energy work. If you don't want to share, that's totally fine—no pressure!

As a Reiki practitioner, I strongly believe in how humans connect with each other and the environment through our biofields. It's less about flashy powers and more about subtle interactions. My journey took a lot of time: from being a skeptical teen to embracing more spiritual experiences after going through massage therapy school, where I truly connected with my body. It helped open my eyes to the possibilities of energy work! Check out books like 'The Biology of Belief' for a scientific perspective on these ideas.

Do you happen to know any groups in Türkiye that delve into parapsychology? It’s a passion of mine, but it can be tough to discuss in a cultural context where it can seem taboo.
mystic_path: You might want to check out gnoxis.com for some resources—and while it's an older forum, there are some solid discussions on parapsychology there.

For me, it was the small signs that built up over time. I started to feel a stronger energy flow within me, and it felt like events and connections in life started shifting in a meaningful way. I do believe moving objects without direct touch is possible, though it takes an understanding of energy fields and a good amount of practice.

Everything is energy, and if you can manipulate it, you can create change. For me, it’s all about the belief in the energy we have; it can manifest in so many ways if you look at it closely.

I realized I could shut down pain in my body through focus. Initially, I only helped myself, but then I figured out I could help others too. Like one time, I relieved someone's problem headache after they'd been suffering for two weeks! It's amazing but hard to prove scientifically. We have to be careful about distinguishing real energy shifts from mere imagination. It's a delicate balance to maintain.

I think the key understanding is that we are all energy and that everything around us is energy too. Grasping this fundamental concept can really shift your perspective on life.
