What are some great movies and shows about conspiracy theories?

I'm looking for recommendations on movies and shows that dive into conspiracy theories. I love how series like Nikita and Blacklist reveal truths that are hidden in plain sight. I'm open to anything, including well-known classics, documentaries, or even those that people might find a bit 'boring.' Just want to put together a solid list for myself!

Here are a few more suggestions: 'Don't Look Up,' 'Minority Report,' and the series 'The Rain' and 'Between' all bring intriguing perspectives on conspiracy theories. Oh, and 'The Event' is worth a mention too—it's got some wild extraterrestrial elements!

You should check out the movie 'Sound of Freedom' starring Jim Caviezel. It's all about trafficking and has a gripping story!

If you're into British shows, the first season of 'The Capture' is incredible. It tackles some intense themes related to surveillance and reality manipulation. I've heard the other seasons aren't as good, though, so stick to Season 1. Another one worth watching is 'The Missing' from 2014, which gives a chilling view of covert child trafficking. Just avoid Season 2! Also, some classic films you should see include 'Capricorn One' and 'The Parallax View.'

Check out 'True Detective' Season 1—it's fantastic! Season 2 was a bit of a letdown, but the first really dives into some dark themes.

If you liked 'Stranger Things,' you might enjoy 'Dark Angel.' It was ahead of its time with a plot involving covert government experiments on kids. It's a shame it only lasted two seasons!
highConceptFan: I loved 'Dark Angel!' It really set the stage for a lot of shows that came after it.
