Is it okay to call myself a witch if I'm not doing spells?

I've recently started exploring witchcraft and I'm really trying to connect with my inner self to make my journey meaningful. However, I don't actually perform spells or rituals, which makes me question if I can still call myself a witch. I understand that witchcraft doesn't strictly require spells, but it feels odd to identify as a witch without those practices. I take time to reflect, communicate with nature, and create poetry, but I'm unsure if that counts. Can I still refer to myself as a witch despite not practicing the traditional aspects of it? Looking for some reassurance or feedback on this!

It's totally fine to start slow. For me, I focused on meditation and grounding before diving into rituals. You might also explore different paths, like kitchen or green witchery, which could resonate more with you.

Absolutely! Witchcraft is more about intention and connection rather than just spells. Respecting nature, learning, and being mindful in your daily life are all valid practices. It's all about how you define your journey.

Who's going to stop you? If you feel like a witch and connect with what that means to you, then own it!

Witches do a lot more than just spells and rituals. Some people consider their morning coffee infused with intention as a spell! Practicing witchcraft is unique to everyone, so embrace what feels right for you.
