Is inflation being pushed to make people accept digital money?

I saw a claim that inflation is being driven on purpose so people will accept fully controlled digital money. Is there evidence for that, and what should I separate when judging the claim?

That claim needs evidence for several separate steps: that inflation is being deliberately increased, that this is meant to encourage digital money, and that the plan would actually force people to use it. The fact that inflation and digital-payment proposals exist at the same time doesn't establish that chain. Inflation can have multiple causes, so a specific claim about intent needs more than a broad theory.

People often use “digital currency” to mean different things. Paying by card or app, money held in a bank account, a possible government-issued digital currency, and cryptocurrency are not all the same thing. Concerns about privacy or access can be worth discussing on their own, but they don't prove that rising prices are a scheme to make one particular system inevitable.

I'd look for concrete evidence of intent, not just a timeline that links two worrying topics. Specific policy documents, laws, or stated plans would matter more than a post asserting a hidden motive. It also helps to ask what is actually proposed about cash and whether any rule would require people to switch. Without that kind of detail, the claim is speculation.
